SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging)

Friends, we use our sense organs to discover the things around us but if we have to measure the depth of sea or ocean then there we use a technique known as SONAR. Today, In this post we will discuss about it. As we use RADAR to find out the things in sky like the Planes, Missiles etc, we use SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging) to find things inside the sea or ocean where we use Sound Waves instead of Radio Waves and detect the things inside the deep water, the depth of sea, object distances, enemy's submarine etc. SONAR is a very useful technique and it's interesting that animals like bat and whale also use sound waves to find out the distance of an object and that's why bats can fly in very dark.
